RSD Shining Stars

At Romoland School District, we are proud to shine a light on the incredible staff who go above and beyond to ensure our schools are safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff, and the entire community. This month, we are excited to feature the Maintenance Worker Team from our District Maintenance, Operations, Transportation & Facilities (MOTF) Department as our "Shining Stars." These dedicated individuals—Hector Rueda, Matt Kucera, Ricardo Pantoja, and Jesse Enciso—have exemplified hard work, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence, especially during the busy summer months as they prepared our schools for the new academic year.

MOTF Director, Jon Parham, commends the team's commitment, stating, "All of my guys work tirelessly to keep our schools safe and functional." Each member of this team brings a unique set of skills and passion to their work, contributing significantly to the district's success. Meet the team below!

Hector Rueda has been with the district for three years and values the friendships he has built within the team. He believes that making an effort to help out a coworker, offering feedback to improve processes, and taking on tasks outside of his comfort zone are all ways to make a meaningful impact at work.

Jesse Enciso, who has served the district for 11 years, thrives on the variety and problem-solving aspects of his job. "Every day there is something different, always a new problem to solve," he says. Jesse believes that by helping teachers, he is directly contributing to the success and learning of students.

Matt Kucera, who has worked in the district for nearly two and a half years, enjoys the collaborative nature of his role. "Being able to work as a team to make sure that various tasks are completed" is what he loves most about his job. Matt believes that his work is crucial in maintaining a safe environment for all students and staff.

With 16 years of experience in the district, Ricardo Pantoja takes pride in being dependable and ensuring that everyone has what they need each day. He enjoys fixing things for teachers and knowing that his efforts contribute to the safety of students. Ricardo's dedication to his role is evident, and he is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of Hector, Jesse, Matt, and Ricardo. Their commitment and impact on the district truly make them Romoland School District's "Shining Stars."
