Future Chefs Competition

It’s never too early to start teaching students how to make healthy food choices, master basic cooking skills, and engage in a little friendly competition! This year, five Romoland School District elementary school students faced off in our annual Future Chefs competition, preparing their favorite family recipe to fit this year’s theme “There is no place like home,” which encouraged students to make their favorite recipe from home.

The students' culinary creations were evaluated on originality, healthy attributes, ease of preparation, kid appeal, plate presentation, and taste! Congratulations to our 2024 Future Chefs! 🎉
