New School Hours for 2022-2023

RSD will implement new start and end times beginning in August 2022. This update will bring our district into compliance with the new state law SB328, which requires the school day for middle schools to begin no earlier than 8:00 AM. Early Childhood Education and Elementary School start times have also been updated to accommodate this change in the law. 

Please review the updated start and end times for all grade levels below. 

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Schedules

• AM Classes: 7:40 AM – 10:40 AM

• PM Classes: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

• Full Day: 7:40 AM – 2:10 PM

Elementary School Schedules

• TK/Kindergarten: 7:50 AM – 1:50 PM

• Grades 1-5: 7:50 AM – 2:10 PM

• Minimum Day: 7:50 AM – 12:15 PM

Middle School Schedule

• Grades 6-8: 8:10 AM – 2:40 PM

• Minimum Day: 8:10 AM – 12:45 PM
