RES Virtual Spirit Week

In an effort to stay connected with students, families, and staff, Romoland Elementary School hosted its very first VIRTUAL Spirit Week last week.

Knowing many members of our community are on Facebook, the school used social media to host this fun event. Prior to the start of the Virtual Spirit Week, school leaders shared the schedule with all stakeholders and encouraged participation. Each day, numerous people shared pictures, comments, and even videos related to the theme of the day. It was a great way to build community, ease anxiety, and stay connected during these unique and uncertain times. And, it was so much fun!

Throughout the extended school closure, Romoland Elementary will continue to stay connected with our students, families, and staff through virtual games, activities, hangouts, and learning opportunities. We may have been given some sour lemons, but we are finding unique and fun ways to make a sweet and refreshing lemonade from them. Stay connected to what we’re doing on our Romoland Elementary Facebook page. We guarantee to put a smile on your face!
