Health Services at Romoland School District

At Romoland School District, we believe the health and wellness of our students is essential to their success.

We are fortunate to have a caring Health Technician or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), trained in first aid and CPR , at every school site. The primary role of the Health Technician or LVN at each site is to provide basic first aid for unexpected injuries, illness and to assist with medications when it is determined they must be given at school. Our dedicated health professionals also  maintain the health records of students at each school site.

RSD also employs a  full time registered nurse referred to as the District Nurse, who oversees the delivery of health services and daily operation of each health office. The District Nurse, Joanne Brown, holds a school nurse credential from the State of California and has received extensive specialized training for the school environment.

The Health Services staff at RSD are here to advocate for our student health. We believe healthy children learn better and we can often assist with accessing healthcare for families in need.
