Serving students with kindness, enthusiasm, and a willingness to lend a helping hand, Maria Victorino is a wonderful example of a Romoland School District Shining Star.

As a Food Service Worker at Harvest Valley Elementary, Maria has quickly become a valued member of the Nutrition Services team. Her flexibility, dependability, and positive attitude make her someone her colleagues can count on. Whether supporting her team at Harvest Valley or stepping in to help at another school site, Maria is always ready to contribute wherever she is needed.

At the heart of Maria’s work is her commitment to students. She understands that her role in Nutrition Services is about more than providing meals—it is also about creating positive interactions and helping students feel cared for and welcomed at school.

After one year with Romoland School District, Maria says her favorite part of her job is simple: “Serving our kids and working with them.”

Her dedication to students, willingness to support her colleagues, and genuine care for the school community make Maria a true Shining Star. Thank you, Maria, for the kindness and positivity you bring to Harvest Valley Elementary and for helping our students feel supported each day!
