With a welcoming smile and a genuine commitment to student safety and well-being, Janet Limon has quickly become a trusted and positive presence at Mesa View Elementary.

In just eight months with RSD, Janet has made a positive impression through her willingness to take on new projects, keep things organized, and collaborate with colleagues. Mesa View Principal, Heather Hilz Fitzgerald, describes Janet as someone who consistently brings ideas and suggestions that help strengthen systems across the school.

Beyond her contributions behind the scenes, Janet’s positive relationships with students are one of the many qualities that make her a Shining Star. She takes pride in being a welcoming presence on campus and enjoys starting each morning by greeting students as they arrive.

“What I enjoy most is the unique opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with students while ensuring they feel safe and supported,” Janet shared.

For Janet, creating a positive school environment is about more than supervision—it’s about helping students feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. She believes her work provides students with a safe and welcoming environment while also giving parents and staff peace of mind throughout the school day.

Her positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and genuine care for students have made Janet a wonderful addition to the Mesa View team.

Congratulations to Janet Limon on being recognized as a Romoland School District Shining Star!
