Shining Star: Jamie Bruce

Romoland School District is proud to recognize Jamie Bruce, Instructional Aide in Special Education at Ethan A. Chase Middle School (EACMS) as this month’s Shining Star. With an incredible 23 years of dedicated service to our district, Jamie exemplifies the heart, commitment, and resilience that define our RSD team.

At EACMS, Jamie is celebrated for her unwavering dedication and willingness to step up whenever her team needs her most. During a recent staff absence, she took on additional responsibilities with flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Whether learning new tasks or supporting both students and colleagues, Jamie ensures that everything continues to run smoothly. Her adaptability and eagerness to grow make her an invaluable member of the EACMS team.

Jamie’s passion for her work is deeply personal. As someone who understands the challenges of learning firsthand, she finds joy in helping students realize their potential. She shares, “I honestly enjoy being a part of helping students see that they can learn.” This perspective allows her to connect with students in a meaningful way, offering encouragement, empathy, and inspiration every day.

Beyond her daily contributions, Jamie values the relationships she builds across campus. She believes the connections she forms with both students and staff are a true gift, and her gratitude and positivity shine through in all she does.

Jamie’s roots in the Romoland School District run deep. Having grown up in the community, she takes pride in continuing a family legacy of service. Her mother, Nadine Bruce, dedicated 17 years as a campus supervisor at Harvest Valley Elementary, making Jamie’s ongoing commitment to RSD even more special.

We are grateful for Jamie Bruce’s dedication, compassion, and the light she brings to our schools. Congratulations, Jamie, and thank you for being a true Shining Star!
