Romoland School District proudly recognizes School Psychologist, Itzel Farias Garcia, as one of our Shining Stars!
For the past three years, Itzel has been a cornerstone of support and compassion on the Mesa View campus. Her role as a school psychologist allows her to collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to help meet each student’s individual needs. She values being part of the village that uplifts students and families, and she approaches every interaction with authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to creating inclusive and empowering learning environments.
Itzel’s dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed! This year, she was honored by her peers as Support Staff Employee of the Year. Her impact is felt daily through her thoughtful problem-solving, willingness to lend a hand, and unwavering belief in the potential of every student.
