Romoland School District is proud to honor Isabella Phillips, Library Technician at Harvest Valley Elementary, as one of our Shining Stars. For the past nine years, Isabella has been an integral part of fostering a love for reading and learning within the school community, creating a warm and welcoming environment in the library.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Isabella shared, "I enjoy being able to connect with our students and support them through their academic journey." Her dedication to making each student's library experience engaging, exciting, and positive is at the heart of her work. By connecting with students and encouraging their curiosity, she plays a vital role in nurturing a passion for stories and knowledge.
Isabella’s work doesn’t just impact students—it also supports the entire Harvest Valley community. According to Harvest Valley Elementary School Principal, Kristine Sherrett, Isabella has created a space where curiosity thrives. "Bella helps students discover new worlds through books," said Kristine. "She is resourceful, knowledgeable, and always ready to support both students and teachers with the resources they need. Her passion for stories, knowledge, and innovation makes the library a dynamic hub of creativity and exploration."
Whether it's helping students find their next great read or assisting teachers in gathering instructional resources, Isabella’s influence stretches far beyond the library walls. Her dedication to making the library an inclusive and inspiring place truly embodies the spirit of a Shining Star.
