Romoland School District is proud to recognize Grace Crider, Instructional Coach at Mesa View Elementary School, as our latest Shining Star. With seven years of dedicated service to RSD, Grace exemplifies excellence, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to student success.

Grace’s impact reaches far beyond her school site. As an Instructional Coach, she consistently goes above and beyond by designing and delivering high-quality professional development at the school, district, and county levels. Her leadership on multiple collaborative teams reflects a deep commitment to continuous improvement and systemic growth. Through intentional, student-centered coaching cycles and thoughtful data analysis, Grace’s work has directly contributed to meaningful gains in student achievement—results that truly speak for themselves.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Grace is a vital support across campus initiatives. From assisting with ELPAC testing and serving as GATE Coordinator to teaching in the attendance recovery program, she steps in wherever she is needed with positivity and purpose. Colleagues consistently describe Grace as intelligent, hardworking, kind, and collaborative—a role model whose presence elevates everyone around her.

For Grace, the heart of her work lies in relationships. “Since this is both the school I taught at and the community I live in, my favorite part of the role is the relationships,” she shared. “I get to support colleagues I care deeply about, work with students across all grade levels, and contribute to the success of a school that means so much to me personally.”

Grace believes her work helps foster a culture of collaboration and shared learning, ensuring staff and students are united around a common goal: student success. Her dedication, versatility, and passion truly embody the spirit of Romoland’s Shining Stars. We are incredibly fortunate to have Grace Crider shining so brightly in our district.
