The Romoland School District is proud to recognize Elias Ramos, Accounting Technician, as one of this month's Shining Stars!

For the past three years, Elias has been a dedicated member of the Romoland team, serving first as a substitute employee before becoming a permanent staff member. In his role within the District Office, Elias plays a vital part in supporting employees and ensuring district operations run smoothly behind the scenes.

What Elias enjoys most about his position is the opportunity to serve others. Whether helping employees navigate their benefits, providing guidance during challenging situations, or offering support whenever needed, he is committed to ensuring staff members feel informed and supported.

Elias' work has a far-reaching impact across the district. Through his oversight of employee benefits and workers' compensation, he helps ensure staff members have the resources they need to focus on student success. He also supports accountability and stewardship of Associated Student Body (ASB) funds, helping maintain programs and activities that enrich the student experience. Additionally, his work with community facilities districts and mitigation agreements helps secure resources that contribute to the district's continued growth and long-term success. Elias exemplifies what it means to be a team player!

Elias credits much of his professional growth to the support and mentorship he has received from his colleagues. He expressed gratitude for the leadership of the district's Chief Business Official and Fiscal Supervisor, as well as the collaboration and dedication of his coworkers.
