My name is Jessica Lopez, I earned my BA at California State University San Marcos and I am currently attending Azusa Pacific University.  This is my first year working with the Romoland School District. Prior to coming here, I worked as a paraprofessional for MUSD for two years in a special education moderate/severe classroom setting. During my undergrad, I was an intern at Autism Comprehensive Educational Services (ACES) and learned how to teach social, behavioral and daily living skills to children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. That is when I knew I was called to work with special needs students, and I'm so glad I heeded that call. It has made me a more compassionate person, and taught me that all people deserve respect and the opportunity to lead a life with dignity, regardless of physical or mental limitations.

When I’m not at school I love spending time with my two wonderful loving children. We enjoy going to the beach, going for bike rides, going out to eat and having family movie nights. I love making memories with them.
