Salutations!
My name is Amy Crismon-Noguera. I have been happily married to my wonderful husband for 18 years and we have two amazing children. My husband is an accountant by day and a rocking guitar player by night. My daughter Abigail, an aspiring musician herself, is 14 years old and beginning her first year of high school. She enjoys playing the violin in the school band and running cross country and track and field. My son Arthur is 12 years old and is enjoying his second year of middle school! He plays the saxophone in the school band and is a competitive member of the BYSC Soccer Team in Corona. I enjoy backpacking, camping, and gardening with my family and running with friends. I have run two half marathons and plan on training for another in February of 2018.
I am a California native and was raised by my loving father and mother in Murrieta. I have one sister who is mentally handicapped. She taught me at a young age to be patient, understanding, and instructive. Little did I know that I was a teacher in training from a young age, and my sister was my guide and inspiration. My experiences with my sister ultimately lead to my decision to become a special education teacher.
I have been a 4th-grade teacher, with a 3/4 and 4/5 combo thrown into the mix, in the Romoland School District, for the past 20 years and have enjoyed every moment. I had the unique opportunity of earning my M.A.Ed. with my current 4th grade team. We recently graduated, in February 2016 after a two-year program at Concordia University in Irvine. We have been working together for the past 7 years and during that time have developed a strong working relationship and formed close friendships. I am looking forward to continuing our learning adventures together as we take what we have learned in our master's program and apply it in our classrooms.
