Summer Learning Program

For Summer 2023, the Romoland School District summer learning program will be offered on-campus and in-person at Romoland Elementary School, Mesa View Elementary School, and Ethan A. Chase Middle School. The program is open to students from all District schools in 2022-23 grades TK-7; Extended School Year (ESY) is available for students in our RISE program in grades Pre-K through 8, per their IEP services.

Dates: June 19-July 14, 2023 (4 weeks, 18 school days due to two holidays on June 19 and July 4), Monday-Friday, 4 hours per day

Times:

Elementary 8:00AM-12:00PM (student arrival/drop-off: 7:30AM-8:00AM)

Middle School 8:30AM-12:30PM (student arrival/drop-off: 8:00AM-8:30AM)

Focus: Reading, writing, and math with enrichment; RISE program ESY will focus on IEP goal engagement

Additionally, a no-cost afterschool program will be offered for each day of summer school. This program is optional for students who attend summer school, and the program focus will be on art, play/sports, and enrichment fun!

Afterschool program times:

Elementary 12:00PM-4:30PM

Middle School 12:30PM-5:00PM

Student registration for the summer learning program was opened during the month of March through April 6. All students registered at that time are guaranteed a space in the summer learning program, and parents will receive school and teacher placement information in late-May.

Registration is NOW CLOSED. To place your student on the WAITLIST, please click here. However, placement in the summer learning program is based on space availability and is not guaranteed. You will be notified in early June about your student's waitlist status.
