Next Generation Science Standards

The Romoland School District has design rigourous units of instruction for the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). We ensure that all of students have access to a quality science education to assist students in learning science content while engaging them in the skills of collaboration, communication, inquiry, problem solving, and flexibiltiy that will serve then throughout their educational and professional careers. The standards are composed of three dimensions to include crosscutting concepts, science and engineering practices, and disciplinary core ideas. The three dimensions are combined to form each standard and help students build a cohesive understanding of science over time.
