Program Options

We have 4 program options to service our youngest learners:

  • Early Head Start Home Base (6 weeks- 3 years old)- A once a week, 90 minute, one-on-one visit with an Early Childhood Educator in your home. This option is perfect for families that have a parent/guardian looking to support learning at the earliest stages of their child's life. In addition to the weekly visits, there are socializations done twice a month with the other students and families enrolled in the program.
  • Head Start Part Day (3-5 year olds)- Students attend school Tuesday through Friday for 3.5 hours.  The morning session is from 7:45 am - 11:15 am.  The afternoon session is from 12:15 pm - 3:45 pm.  This is an excellent option for students that are new to being away from their parents/guardians or for families looking to introduce their child to an educational setting.  *All students must be 3 years old before they can start attending class.
  • Head Start Full Day (3-5 year olds)- Students attend school Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm.  Priority will be given to, however enrollments will not be guaranteed, for parents/guardians who work or go to school "full-time." This is also good option for students who have attended preschool in the past and are preparing for the longer school day of TK or Kindergarten. *All students must be 3 years old before they can start attending class.
  • State Preschool Part Day (3-5 year olds)- Students attend school Monday through Friday for 3 hours.  The morning session is from 8:00 am - 11:00 am.  The afternoon session is from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm.  This is an excellent option for students that are new to being away from their parents/guardians or for families looking to introduce their child to an educational setting. *All students must be 3 years old by December 1st.  Students who turn three after the first day of school, may begin attending school on the first day of program in August.
