Employee Benefits

The Romoland School District offers a competitive benefits package to employees in permanent positions who work 6 or more hours per day for the entire school year (substitutes do not qualify). Benefit-eligible employees may participate in our benefits program, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life/AD&D Insurance.

The district provides an annual Health and Welfare contribution of $12,850. All benefit-eligible employees who provide proof of other health insurance coverage have the option to opt out and be eligible to receive cash in lieu of District medical coverage for that fiscal year.

Benefits will remain in effect for a full plan year unless there is a qualifying event. Covered individuals only have 30 days to apply for coverage from the day of the qualifying event.
