Hello! I am very pleased to be a part of a wonderful group of teachers and staff at Romoland Elementary School. I am currently teaching in the RISE program.
I began my teaching career over 20 years ago teaching preschool in an orphanage in Honduras. After completing a year teaching preschool there, I returned to the United States, got married and was blessed with 4 daughters. I began volunteering in their elementary school, then working as an instructional aide. I worked with students with special needs at various schools for 7 years, then returned to school to get my teaching credentials in mild/moderate and moderate/severe special education, and master's degree in digital teaching and learning, from Azusa Pacific University.
I believe that all students have abilities and gifts, and can learn from one another. I love working with all students and seeing them grow in their confidence and abilities. We all learn from each other.
I look forward to working with all students and helping them reach their goals.
