Early Childhood Education
The goal for Early Childhood Education programs is school readiness. All of the preschool aged classrooms maintain a 1:8 staff-child ratio and teachers have degrees in Early Childhood Education. Each classroom is designed for individual and group learning opportunities. Each child has their own individualized assessments, which outline their social and educational goals. The educational Curriculum used is High Scope. The teachers have been trained in the Guided Language Acquisition Design for a rich environment of language ideas and concepts.
Early Head Start and State Preschool have both started the 2019-2020 school year. These programs are both full and currently accepting applications for the waitlist.
Head Start will begin their school year on September 3rd, 2019. There is limited space still avialable. Please contact our office to schedule an enrollment appointment.
Applications for all programs can be printed from the tools on this page or can be picked up at any of the Romoland School District Elementary school sites.
