Mrs. Terri Richey

Mrs. Richey has been teaching since 2007 however she has been in the field of education since 1990.  She has taught all grade levels of special education from PK to age 22.  This is her second year with Romoland and the RISE program.  She is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona.  After graduation, she went on to become a paid-call firefighter with the California Department of Forestry (CDF) which is now CALFIRE.  She continues to work with CALFIRE/Riverside County Fire in the MEOC (Mobile Emergency Office of Communication) during major fires.  In 2006, she returned to Azusa Pacific University and earned two masters: Masters Degree in Educational Technology and a Masters Degree in Special Education.  She also earned two credentials: mild/moderate special education and moderate/severe special education.  Mrs. richey has been married for 36 years.  Her husband is retired however he also continues to work for CALFIRE/RCF as a water tender operator.  They have four children.  She is "Nana" to seven grandchildren ages 3 - 19.  Mama Bear loves her "cubs".
