• Romoland SD subscribes to i-Ready, a dual-purpose product that combines an adaptive diagnostic along with personalized, online instruction. A single K–12 adaptive diagnostic (one for reading, one for math) pinpoints student needs down to the sub-skill level, and ongoing progress monitoring shows whether students are on track to achieve end-of-year targets. The results of a student’s diagnostic then generates personalized instruction targeted to students’ unique areas of needs. Wrapped around all of this are easy-to-use reporting tools that provide educators with real-time insights for each student at the class, school, and district level.

    The adaptive diagnostic has been proven to be highly correlated to results obtained by students on state-level exams, especially the most recent (2016) administration of the CAASPP. For this reason, and others, educators are encouraged to leverage this tool to help adapt & personalize instruction, and thus improve student growth and achievement.
