Knowledge sharing is a somewhat messy term, as the definition of knowledge, although there are some, can be debated. In organizational theory, knowledge transfer is the practical problem of transferring knowledge from one part of the organization to another. Within Romoland School District, educators have opportunities to attend conferences & meetings away from assigned work sites, and also attend in-house training sessions both on their campus and on others. These opportunities directly benefit the participant for sure, but in order to leverage our finite resources, the sharing of information and knowledge obtained at these events can benefit everyone. This is the reason for this section of the Professional Learning site.
