Hi!

I'm Johanna Spencer and I teach ELD and Spanish for Spanish Speakers. This is my first year teaching at Ethan A. Chase Middle School and I'm very excited to be here.  

I lived in San Diego and taught High School Spanish for 10 years.

I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies.  I will also be pursuing my Master's degree in TESOL.

Outside of school I love to spend time with my husband, daughter and dogs.  I also enjoy traveling, gardening, and doing art projects.
